It's fair to say that John Williams single handedly brought back the classic Hollywood orchestral soundtracks to the silver screen with his partnerships with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
In 2006 John Williams was interviewed by the BBC's Francine Stock. During the interview broadcast on BBC Radio's Film Programmehe discusses his music, his influences and his close relationship with director Steven Spielberg.

Thank you for uploading and sharing this and the "Henry Mancini - A Life in Film". Surely; many of us have grown up listening to these composers music and love "the artistary" of their OSTs. It is my hope: many also find it equally interesting to listen to programming such as this, of "what it is that makes, such musicians, tick". I would therefore like to request of you, that if you have any more such insightful "programmes" of other male/female OST composers (as well from different eras); I (and hopefully others) would be very keen to give them a listen to - if you were to upload them, here on your blog.

I love photography, film, music and pop culture. I hope you share my passion and enjoy the material on this blog.
If you like the photos, please give me your feedback and if by some chance you want to use any of them, please let me know.
This is a zero profit undertaking and I make no money from this blog. As a result you won't see any annoying pop-ups with demands for your money or time.
